GREG CHAPMAN

Registered Builder / Managing Director

Greg completed apprenticeships in both Cabinetmaking and Carpentry to start his professional career. He also had experience as a window fitter before accepting a job from Architect Leigh Ratcliffe to project manage builds in Queensland.

Greg then moved back to Melbourne as project manager in 2010 for Smart & Cain Constructions before getting his builder licence in 2014 and founding GJC Building Solutions in 2015.

Greg has been employed by a number of established Architects including:

WAINE LAIDLAW

Construction Manager

Waine comes to GJC Building Solutions with a wealth (30 years) of experience in the High-End Residential construction industry. He has previously been a registered builder and has a fantastic reputation with Architects, Clients, Trades and Suppliers.

Waine has previously managed projects up to $6 million in value and featured on a ‘Grand Designs Australia’ episode due to air in April 2021

GREG BRUCE

Senior Project Manager (Registered Builder)

Greg comes to GJC with over 20 years experience in the residential building industry. Greg has previously managed projects up to $4 million in value including a HIA award winnings build for projects between $2-4 million in value.

Greg is based on the Mornington Peninsula and has manged many projects with Architects Wolveridge and Austin Maynard.

LACHIE MASON

Project Coordinator

Lachie comes to GJC with experience assisting on projects in the Defence, Oil & Gas, Property Development, Public Sector projects and the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Lachie has been with GJC for 4 years and looks after tendering, contract administration and assists with project management.
